While I had known for a while I wanted to have my own business, the real thing that “got me hooked” was when I read the book “Multiple Streams of Income” by Robert Allen.  I had been wanting to read the book for a while, and once I finally got around to it - that was it - I was hooked.

Robert Allen made such good points about having multiple streams of income that I have never forgotten it, and no matter what I am working on, I make sure that there are multiple streams of income so that if something happens to one of them, I still have a viable business, and won’t be in trouble.

Since then,  I have read most of his books (I am not big into real estate except for my own house, so I have skipped those), but all of the business books I have read, and have gotten a lot out of.  I really suggest you buy a book or two of his.  It will really get you pumped up, and will help you focus your attention on what you want to do!

If you’ve been trying to make money by writing articles, you might be getting a little frustrated.  You never know if all of that work will end up making you a single penny.  Plus, these days it seems that EzineArticles is the main place to submit, but you can’t even promote affiliate links unless you buy a domain to redirect first.

Well, all of that has changed.  Anik Singal, who is the creator of Affiliate Classroom, has just started AffSphere.  The great thing about them, is not only can you submit your articles and put any links in the your resource box that you want, but that’s only the beginning!

They have a total of 8 ways you can earn income on their website.  That’s pretty impressive.  So getting traffic from your articles is now only the beginning!  I went to the site and submitted my first article, and was really impressed.  It was nice and easy, and once it gets approved I’m sure I’ll start earning income in quite a few ways!

I also like that when you submit articles or even read others articles, you earn credits.  You can then use those credits to either place your banners on the website, or to get AdSense impressions. Either way, that’s a lot more money that can be made, all from just submitting an article!

I have a feeling I’ll be submitting a lot more articles to AffSphere, and recommend you do the same.

Where does that leave you?  Right back at the beginning.  You haven’t made any money, and don’t really have anything to show for your time.  If you kept to a plan though, you would see that you should follow through with one thing before you start the next.

If you write out exactly what your goals and plans are, you will be able to make sure you finish one thing before starting the next.  This will really help you in the long run!  If the idea you heard about is so great, you can do it when you have free time - once what you are working on is finished!

It will really help you save a lot of time!

While that is a great thing - it also means it is very easy to get off track.  Every time you are about to work on something, first ask yourself this.  What are my goals?  Will doing this help me get closer to these goals?  If not, don’t do it!  Otherwise you’re just wasting time.

I can’t tell you the number of times I have been working on something an then realized that it wouldn’t help me with my main goal at all!  If you keep reminding yourself of your main goals, you’ll be able to make sure that everything you do leads you towards those goals.

Robert G. Allen has written multiple books. Some include: Multiple Streams of Income, Creating Wealth, Nothing Down for the 2000’s and more.

I have read quite a few books of his, and recommend them all: Multiple Streams of Income, Multiple Streams of Internet Income, The One Minute Millionaire, and Cracking the Millionaire Code.

He is the reason that I became so interested in “Multiple Streams of Income”, and really think that it’s the best way to go! Do I agree with all of his ideas? No. He has written books on Real Estate, but except for house I live in, I have no interest in owning other real estate.

I do think that most of his ideas are great. I have seen step-by-step how he went about making over $94k in 24-hours, and think that we can all learn a lot from him. I just wanted to share what he’s offering now so that you can take a look!

My husband and I were going to a holiday party at the house of one of our friends. The last thing I thought would come up was business, so it never even occurred to make sure I had business cards on me. Plus, between the two of us, one of us usually had a card or so on hand.

So boy were we caught off guard when the host was telling some friends about our business, and they were asking about the website and the URL, and we realized we didn’t have a business card to give them! We hope that they remembered the name, but let’s face it, it was 11pm on a Saturday night, so who knows if they will remember!

If we had the business cards on us, we might have gotten a whole bunch of new people to stop by and join the site! The fact that we had many business cards just sitting in our house (less than 10 minutes away) only made it worse.

So I just want to remind everyone, especially during this holiday season where you will probably see more people then usual, always make sure you have your business cards on you! Don’t have any you say? There are 2 quick ways to get them.

The first is to use Vistaprint. They offer 250 free business cards, you just have to pay shipping.

The great part about them is you can easily make a very professional looking business card in under 5 minutes. You can choose from many different designs, and write whatever you would like in the text.

The only negative (if it bothers you) is that on the back of the card, it does say Vistaprint.com on it. Truthfully though, who cares? For free business cards, I don’t mind if it has their website in small print on the back on my business cards. Plus, not many people look at the back - and if they do, they’ll just know where I got the cards.

I have business cards from them, and really like them.  They look like they were professionally designed, and I am proud to give them out to advertise my business.  Plus, 250 cards is a lot, so you will always have them when you need them!

If you want more control over your card though, and want to design every little part, you can always go to Staples/Office Depot/Etc and buy blank business cards.  You can then go home, find some software to design your own, and print them out.  This is great if you want to do something that is a little different, and if you want to have your business cards that day!

No matter how you get them though, just make sure you always have a few with you.  You never know when it will come up and you could get new business, just because you had your card on you!

If you’re trying to make some more income on your website, you might want to take a look at BountyCPA. I just joined them recently, but they have a lot of CPA (Cost per Action) offers you can use.

If you don’t know what a CPA is, it means when someone takes a specific action - such as signing up for a free trial, subscribing to a newsletter, or buying something fro a site - you will get paid. You will be told beforehand what the action has to be. But it’s a great way to earn a little extra money on your website.
