3 Internet Marketing Events You Shouldn’t miss in 2013

Internet Marketing Events for 2013

I love going to Internet Marketing events when I have the chance.

I don’t know if it’s just being in a different place, or being surrounded by like minded people, but I always get so inspired when I go to an event. I always come home with tons of new ideas and strategies, and with a list of to-do items that I want to get started on right away.

Attending events doesn’t really compare to learning something new online. You get the benefit of being in the room with the people you’re learning from, and can ask questions if you have them. You’ll also be able to discuss what you learn with the other attendees. Think of the amazing networking opportunities you’ll have with people who are just like you.

I wanted to share three events with you that are coming up starting at the beginning of next year. As of this moment, I’m only going to one of them, but I’m hoping to change my schedule around so that I can go to two, if not all three events that I’m going to talk about. Hopefully you’ll be able to go to at least one of them yourself, and see what I mean about how great it is to go to an Internet Marketing event.

1. January 2013 – Ryan Deiss: Traffic and Conversions Summit in San Francisco, CA

This January, Ryan Deiss will be putting on the 4th annual Traffic and Conversions Summit with over 40 members of his team. There are no other speakers, so you don’t have to worry about getting pitched to all weekend.

Instead, you’ll get to learn what worked for his team in 2012, as well as what didn’t work. What’s more important, they’ll be sharing what they’re doing NOW to stay in front of the curve on all things digital marketing.

That description doesn’t really do the Traffic and Conversions Summit justice. You’ll learn more in one weekend at the T&C Summit than you could reading books or buying courses for the next 5 years!

Now through November 15th, you can get your ticket for 50% off. So the price for the 3 day event is really reasonable.

Here are just a few of the things they’ll teach you about:

  • The Future
  • Kindle Publishing Revolution
  • Selling with Video
  • Post Panda SEO
  • Building a Big Buyer List
  • Guaranteed Traffic
  • Conversion Crushers
  • …and so much more!

You really need to take a look at all of the sessions that you’ll get to attend. There are also some really great networking functions that Ryan has set up, so you’ll be sure to get a chance to meet a lot of great people!

I went to an event Ryan Deiss did a little over 5 years ago, and ever since I’ve wanted to go to another one. It was great. I learned a lot – and still have the notes that I look at every once in a
while.

This event should be even cooler since he’s included networking events. For someone like me who is shy, this will make it so much easier to talk to other people!

Again, On November 15th, the price is going to jump…so get your 50% off now:

2. March 2013 – David Perdew: NAMS (Niche Affiliate Marketing Systems) in Atlanta, Georgia

In February, David Perdew will be hosting the 9th NAMS event.

They’re held twice a year, and this will be the second time I’ve gone to the event.

While NAMS has the phrase affiliate marketing in it’s name, the event is about so much more than that. There are sessions on all types of Internet Marketing topics, so even if you’re not an affiliate marketer, you’ll still be able to learn a lot.

First, let’s start with what makes NAMS different from every other conference I’ve been to (or heard about.)

While others have sessions for everyone to attend, no matter what level you’re at, here there are 4 different levels of training. So during each timeframe, you can choose between 4 different sessions, from beginner to advanced.

I liked this, because the people in the sessions with me were where I was in my business. The instructors weren’t talking about things that were too advanced that I wouldn’t be able to do for months, but they weren’t talking about the basics either. Of course depending on which track you decide to take, you can make sure that the training is at your level.

Of course you don’t have to stay in your track…although it is recommended. When I went this past August, I ended up going to different sessions in 3 different tracks, mainly because I was interested in what was being taught in those sessions.

There are also sessions that are for everyone, so you’ll get a chance to network with everyone as well.

Another thing I really liked about the event was what happened at night, after the last session finished.

Since the event is held at a hotel that’s not really near anything else, almost everyone eats dinner at the hotel. So it’s very easy to find people to eat with, and you can end up meeting a lot of great people each night.

Plus, after dinner everyone hangs out in the lobby for the rest of the evening. Let’s face it…there isn’t too much else to do, and everyone is there to network. So it is VERY easy to just walk up to people and have conversations. Even someone as shy as I am had no problems talking to a whole bunch of new people while I was down there.

So between the sessions and the networking opportunities, I was hooked. I purchased my tickets to NAMS9 while still at the event, and am really looking forward to going in February.

I suggest you do the same. I have a feeling you’ll be happily surprised at the price as well. You wouldn’t think you’d get all of that for as cheap as the tickets are!

If you go, make sure you leave a comment and let me know…or at least come up to me at the event!

3. March 2013 – Yanik Silver: Underground Online Seminar 9 in Washington, D.C.

In March, Yanik Silver will be holding the 9th annual Underground Online Seminar, and I’m sure this one will sell out just like all of the others have.

You see…This is the Internet Marketing Event that all others are measured against.

Why?

Because this is the event that always has the most amazing speakers that you’ve never heard of, who then show you things that you didn’t know and can then use in your own business.

This event always draws the big name marketers, and has some incredible networking opportunities.

It’s not the cheapest event, although right now it’s actually a lot less than it usually is.

Yanik Silver finds the people you’ve never heard of, but are quietly making a ton of money online. They aren’t the people who are out there teaching others how to make money. He convinces them to share their secrets, and you’ll come home with a lot of great new ideas to put into place in your business.

Here are 3 great reasons to pay attention to the event now, even though it isn’t going on until March:

  1. You get the lowest discounts, bonuses and surprises including VIP seating at the secret networking dinner).
  2. Like I mentioned, last year this unique event sold-out weeks early. And from the buzz, build-up and new success stories – I have reason to believe this year may sell out even quicker.
  3. It’s a lot of fun! Every year Yanik does a new spy theme and it’s a true experience. Not some stodgy seminar where you sit in a windowless room every day listening to boring Powerpoints. This year’s theme in Inspector Gadget.

If you could pick up just a fraction of their knowledge…what would it be worth to you?

Like I mentioned earlier. I think events are great for anyone’s business. You’re guaranteed to learn a lot (as long as you go to the sessions!) and the networking can really change your business.

All 3 of the events are in different locations – California, Georgia, and Washington D.C., so no matter where you live, it shouldn’t be too far away to be able to go to at least one of the events.

And just think of how much you can learn…and all of the people you’ll meet!

Even if you don’t attend any of these, I strongly suggest attending an Internet Marketing event when you have the chance. You’ll see how it can change your whole business!

I hope to see you at one of the events next year!
