Last weekend I attended NAMS 9 in Atlanta, Georgia, and I just wanted to share a little bit about my weekend.
If you’ve been to an event like Blogworld or Affiliate Summit…this is nothing like that. Those are huge events where it’s hard to network, and NAMS has less than 500 people, and networking is easy.
There were 4 different tracks (from absolute beginner to very advanced), but I just heard that in August there will be a 5th track of special things to learn. So that means more sessions to choose from!
Here are just a few things I learned over the weekend:
- Just do it! Everyone comes up with excuses to not get things done…but you just have to get it done and move on.
- Don’t miss out on passive income. Nicole Dean had a great session about places you can monetize that we’re not even thinking about. Once she showed us, it was obvious! I can’t wait to put those into place.
- Speaking with someone one-on-one about you business, even for just 15 minutes can really change everything. I spoke with both Nicole Dean and Karon Thackston, and came away with some amazing insights. I also have a huge list of things to do now!
- Networking can be fun. I’m very shy…but this is the second time that the people at NAMS showed me how much fun it could be. Every night I was out in the lobby (by choice!) talking to people, and it was a great time.
- …and so much more!
I love going to NAMS, and already have my ticket for August. If you get your ticket by Monday night, you’ll only have to pay $97. And that $97 is for 3 days full of sessions, networking, and even one-on-one’s with the instructors!
After Monday, the tickets will rise to $197, and will continue to go up $100 every month until they’re sold out or hit $697.
