I just did the math and I was surprised.
Amazon makes their S3 service sound so cheap, but when you really add it all up it’s one of the most expensive hosting/sharing solutions anywhere!
Take this example:
If a 150MB file is downloaded 100 times, it would cost $2.59. If it was downloaded 1,000 times, it would cost $25.55. Is that cheap?
Not really, no. And that’s not even counting the cost of hosting the file.
